The Babylon Village Arts Council is proud to presents its
Fourth Annual Outdoor Art Show entitled
'Art by the Falls'
May 14 at Argyle Park.  
This free exhibition runs from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm featuring over 15 artists.
  

Stroll through Babylon Village and visit the park to view  watercolors by Ned Butterfield, Deb DiDomenico,Bill Kuckler; oils by Patrick Cusack, Robert Downs, Ellen Nichols, Victor Ruiz and Wolfgang Vann;  collages by Kathy Cunningham and Edward Lee, photography by Evan Reinheimer, Monica Friedrich, Mitchell Goodstein, Edward Hansen and Tiqvah Terroade; pottery by Jonathan Zamet; jewelry by Eden Bennett and mixed media by Julia LaMarca, Tony LaMarca and Tom Fosterer. Listen to the music of sax player Nicholas Natalie from 1-3.

This program is made possible in part through funds from Suffolk County Executive Ofice under the auspices of Legislator Wayne Horsley.

BVAC is excited to present three aspiring artists from the Art Partnership Program under  the direction of  Cheryl Schweider: Gabrielle Simone, Kelsey Laing and Ryan Hart.  Three Babylon High School art students will provide works of art with supplies provided by the Babylon Village Arts Council in the amount of $200 per student.  Each student will order supplies and materials and provide invoices/receipts to BVAC. This program simulates real life skills of an artist to plan, produce display and to discuss their work with the public. This program is made possible through fundraising events such as the Y'Art sale.

Babylon Village Arts Council is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization.

Community support through membership and donations enable BVAC to present continous
cultural art programs throughout the year to the community. Programs are made possible
in part through grants from Suffolk County Executive Office and the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation and through private contributions from
Astoria Federal Savings Bank, sponsorships and donations.
