My name is Ellen Nicholls and I began by painting murals on my children’s walls when they were young. I came late into painting seriously and am largely self-taught since 2003. I began with an adult education class in oil painting and now paint abstracts and an occasional landscape. My work has been exhibited at the West Islip Library, 2010 Apples and Art Festival and BVAC art shows.
