As an artist, I feel the most important thing I have to offer is passion. I believe that for someone who has as much passion for the arts as I do, the potential for becoming a great artist is unlimited.  My biggest goal is to keep widening how I see things, and how I portray them with art.

My favorite kind of artwork to create is the kind that people don’t get without really looking at it. To me, there is no better feeling than seeing someone’s face light up when they realize what the actual subject of your artwork is.  I have always loved collage and drawing, but recently I have become absorbed with painting.

What inspires me as an artist?  Everything.  For this reason, I am still yet to discover my one true artistic style. Over the past few years, as I started to really put everything into art, I think my mind transformed from seeing things, to taking mental pictures of things, to making everything I see into a painting or drawing.
Next year, I would like to attend Syracuse University to major in fine arts and minor in psychology.  Then, I plan on earning my masters degree in art therapy.  My extracurricular activites include art classes, which I started at the Huntington School of Fine Arts last summer, and the Senior Portfolio program which I have continued throughout my senior year.  I contribute artwork to BHS Visions yearbook, and I have participated in several art shows, even winning the BACCA Judged Art Exhibition last year.  I am a 3 year member of the National Art Honor Society and have served as Historian the past two years.
