My paintings are largely Long Island scenes. I have lived in Farmingdale since 1955 and am pretty familiar with our island. Over the last year or so I have logged hundreds of miles exploring the coast line and I am pleased that there are still plenty of beautiful locations that have not yet been developed. Let’s hope they remain that way.
I studied art at Nassau Community College and Hofstra University. The need to have food and a roof over the heads of my family prevented pursuing my calling on a full time basis. This changed in 2009 and now I have the time to see how far I can take my ability.
I am a member of the Wet Paints Studio Group as well as the Suburban Art League and have won awards in competitions from both organizations.
