| About the Babylon Village Arts Council……
The Babylon Village Arts Council was formed in 2003 by a group of village residents who recognized the need to present various art experiences to the Babylon Village community. From that vision the Babylon Village Arts Council (BVAC) has become an integral part in the cultural lives of its residents.

The Babylon Village Arts Council is proud to sponsor its first quilting workshop. Master quilter Joy Torrey will teach beginning quilters how to make a simple quilt in just 2 weeks! The next 4 classes will include more advanced techniques for beginners. Quilting classes will run from 7:00 – 8:30 pm on March 5,12,19,26, April 9 & 16. All you need to start is a good pair of scissors.
Please submit non-refundable participation fee of $25 along with registration form to Babylon Village Arts Council, P.O. Box 141, Babylon Village. The workshop will be held in Babylon Village.

Babylon Village Arts Council
Third Established Artist Annual Indoor Winter Art Show
The Babylon Village Arts Council seeks exhibitors for its third Established Artist Annual Indoor Winter Art Show on Sunday, March 10, 2012 at the Babylon Masonic Lodge, 250 West Main Street, from 2:00-6:00 pm.
All media welcomed. Artists must submit up to 3 examples of works in JPEG format on CD.
Please provide a resume and artist statement. Submission due date: January 30, 2012.

If selected, a participation fee of $25 must be made payable to Babylon Village Arts Council and mailed to: BVAC, PO Box 141, Babylon Village, NY 11702. All participants will receive a free BVAC membership. The fee will be waived for existing BVAC members. Artists are kindly requested to donate 10% of sales proceeds to the Babylon Village Arts Council to help defray expenses and sustain art programs.
